Last Tue, I attended a farewell dinner at the Mint Museum of Toys for my DD, Greg, who has been posted to another unit. Before the dinner, we were given a tour of the museum, which has an impressive display of toys much older than me, and yes, worth much much more than me. Much thought has been taken to set up the museum, from the display shelves to the lighting. No flash is allowed during phototaking, as it is said that exposure to light will shorten the toys' shelf life. See if you spot any toys that bring back fond memories of your childhood (for those who know me well, you'd know that i have not much recollection of my childhood, i.e., dun ask me about cartoons, toys etc. All i can remember are my barbie dolls, carebears, a few characters from sesame street, Popeye, and my fav chipmunks).

The 2 Cs of Nexus: Cat & Charlene, who were like ah sors, sitting whenever they could during the tour of the museum.

Finally, after the buffet dinner, we presented Greg with his farewell gift: a book of memories. Wished i had time to look thru every page!
