"Very good, your amniotic fluid level is good."
"Good, your baby is in a very good position."
"Good, the size of your baby is good."
"This is your 37th week, can prepare to deliver anytime from now."
The words from my gynae during my Sat morn checkup resulted in mr fox waking up earlier than from his usual Sunday morning snooze to assemble baby fox's cot. After an hr of cursing and swearing at the nuts and bolts and the simple pc of so-called instruction manual, the baby cot is finally up.
One more item off my checklist.
Our room now seem smaller with the addition of the baby cot. And somehow it seems to signify the huge change that's coming along our way. Soon, we can no longer just think of ourselves as mr and mrs fox, and just go off to anywhere as and when we like. We have less than 1 mth to enjoy each other's sole company.
It's 3 weeks away (or even shorter) till the arrival of baby fox. I'm so looking forward to it, and yet can't help but shudder at the huge responsibility that's coming our way.
Is that why i'm getting so emotional lately?
