I don't know if i missed anyone out. But it's quite a known fact that the turnover rate in this big organization is quite high. Is it really that bad? At least until now, I don't think so. But people move on. Those who left/are leaving have their valid reasons. Not all left because they hate their jobs. But more because it's time to move on. We need to constantly challenge ourselves, to not allow ourselves become stagnant. 2 years they say, is the optimum length of time you should stay in a position before you start looking around for new challenges, be it within your department, your organization or somewhere else. i don't really fancy the idea of setting a time frame for things like this. It is subjective of course. There're people who can constantly find new challenges in the same position, and there're also people who gets bored easily and is not afraid to forsake the current state and try new things.
In any case, while i nurse my super itchy nose, feeling cold in this sweltering heat, let me say goodbye to our intern YW, who has brought us so much laughter simply by remaining his true self and allowing us to constantly tease him. Someone who's so proud of his.... unique tastes in music, men/women, eye candies and mei-meis, you've been a joy to have around. All the best to your studies, ace it all and make us proud! To end it off, here are some pics i took of him today. Enjoy.
Despite reminding myself time and again, i forgot to take pics during our farewell lunch for YW at Kenny Rogers. Hence i sneaked up to him and
snapped this pic while he was caught unaware. Hehe.
After realising what i did, he came up to me with his hpand tried to take a pict of me. But it aint no easy task!
Disclaimer: Dear YW, though this is supposedly "BE NICE TO YW WEEK", I just can't resist this one last poking of fun at you, so pls don't take offence yah. After all, be glad that we're bitching WITH you and not ABOUT you!
